12:22 Then they brought to him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute. Jesus ²  healed him so that he could speak and see. ³  12:23 All the crowds were amazed and said, “Could this one be the Son of David?”

[12:13]  ¹ sn The passive was restored points to healing by God. Now the question became: Would God exercise his power through Jesus, if what Jesus was doing were wrong? Note also Jesus’ “labor.” He simply spoke and it was so.
